Adê-fî Vêko Bî (/ˈadɘ/ /fɪ ˈvɘko/ [heavy] [lamb]) is a temperate Town located in the Nêndënkîte Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Adê-fî Vêko Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Adê-fî Vêko Bî was founded by Nrèsèb Trêthêbre, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Adê-fî Vêko Bî has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Adê-fî Vêko Bî receives an average of 269 cm/y (105 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Adê-fî Vêko Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2354 m (7723 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Adê-fî Vêko Bî was founded durring the early 11th century, by Nrèsèb Trêthêbre. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Adê-fî Vêko Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Adê-fî Vêko Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Adê-fî Vêko Bî is buildings are arranged within a network of broad cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

A look around Adê-fî Vêko Bî shows Adê-fî Vêko Bî is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.

Civic Infrastructure

Adê-fî Vêko Bî possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Adê-fî Vêko Bî's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Adê-fî Vêko Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Adê-fî Vêko Bî's natural decorations nor waterways.

Adê-fî Vêko Bî has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

The law within Adê-fî Vêko Bî is highly corrupt, or does not apply to certain favored groups or castes. Strangers might be fleeced by local lawmen, evildoers can be absolved by a payment, and powerful gentry do as they please.

Adê-fî Vêko Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Adê-fî Vêko Bî was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Adê-fî Vêko Bî lost 161 people, 319 livestock, and 42 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 74, when members of Adê-fî Vêko Bî's militia enacted an operation to locate a particular special forces group. The operation was complicated by aggravated civilians, who cause problems for the militia for a host of reasons. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in defeat for Adê-fî Vêko Bî's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Adê-fî Vêko Bî's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
